Asics is getting into the kids apparel business.
The activewear brand has signed Cayre Group as its licensee for children’s apparel. The agreement includes boys and girls activewear, outerwear and swimwear for newborn, infant, toddler and sizes 4-20 in the United States. The product will debut for spring.
“We are excited to expand our apparel offering by working with the Cayre Group, who is a leader in design and production of children’s apparel,” said David Chandler, Asics America’s vice president of apparel and accessories. “We have seen tremendous success with the children’s line in footwear and are eager to grow the product offering to those consumers.”
The collection will be available in major department stores, sporting goods retailers, and specialty stores around the country.
