Sometimes the music is half the fun. Or not. Here are some high notes (and a few clunkers) from runway soundtracks.
• Victoria Beckham looked to two classic movies to bring her runway to life: “Theme From Valley of the Dolls” sung by Dionne Warwick and “Love Theme From Eyes of Laura Mars” sung by Barbra Streisand.
• Indie City: Los Angeles indie-rock band The Like performed songs at Rachel Antonoff, while C’N’C Costume National featured Swedish pop group You Say France and I Whistle live.
• Rebecca Minkoff’s muse Charlotte Kemp Muhl and bandmate Sean Lennon performed three songs from their debut self-titled album, The Ghost of the Saber Tooth Tiger.
