Men’s wear veteran Joe Cecil will retire from Individualized Apparel Group at the end of this week after 45 years in the industry.
He worked at IAG for the last 10 years where he served as president of sales for its Burberry division and more recently as its head of publicity.
Previously he worked at Saks Fifth Avenue for nine years where was the vice president and divisional merchandise manager of men’s sportswear. From 1979 to 1984, he served as the general merchandise manager of men’s for Marshall Field’s. He also co-founded Mallards, a group of men’s specialty stores in the Chicago area.
He will continue to work for IAG as a consultant on an interim basis.
