PARIS — Hermès International is next year returning to its equestrian roots with a horse competition at the Grand Palais to celebrate the sporting, artistic and cultural aspects of the equestrian world.
Called Saut Hermès, the event’s main highlight will be an obstacle-jump competition for renowned international horsemen on April 3 and 4.
After ending its connection with the Prix de Diane, a major horse-racing event in Chantilly, France, that the luxury brand sponsored from 1982 to 2007, Hermès has become involved with Galop Hermès, a horse race held every summer in Deauville, as well as with international dressage competition Equita’Lyon, held in Lyon.
