LONDON — Alexander McQueen is moving its men’s wear business to Savile Row.
The company confirmed Tuesday that a 2,000 square feet store will open at 9 Savile Row in September. It will be down the street from Gieves & Hawkes and the Abercrombie Kids store that is set to open later this year.
The new store will sell the McQueen men’s ready to wear collection — which is currently stocked at the brand’s Bond Street flagship — and Alexander McQueen by Huntsman, a bespoke service that was announced in January.
Going forward, McQueen’s Bond Street store will be devoted entirely to women’s wear with more space earmarked for accessories, the spokesman said.
