At Vivienne Westwood’s Red Label show during London Fashion Week, the antics off the runway threatened to outshine the glittering gold biker jackets and harem pants in the collection. An eclectic celebrity lineup filled the front row at the show, which was held in the cavernous Earl’s Court exhibition center.
Pamela Anderson took her seat in a gold, cleavage-enhancing Vivienne Westwood dress, accompanied by a man whose face was covered by an eerie white plastic mask, whom many in the audience suspected was Michael Jackson trying out a new way of going incognito. “I love London,” gushed Anderson, before the man in the white mask whisked her away to the gasps of the crowd.
Meanwhile, Kate Moss perched on the lap of her hairstylist friend Guido Paulo as Dita Von Teese looked on, and Pixie Geldof, Mischa Barton and Jaime Winstone sat opposite. There were a few celeb models on the runway, too, namely party fixtures Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung.
