MIAMI — Every Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend, the stars come out in full force to attend parties, dinners and major events. And this year’s Miami Grand Prix weekend was no exception.
The weekend boasted a slew of the biggest celebrities inside and outside the track. Puma saw Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton celebrate its new Ferrari collection in Little Havana; IWC Schaffhausen hosted a cocktail party at Fabel for the upcoming “F1” movie; Tag Heuer celebrated its role as Formula 1’s official timekeeper and its ongoing partnership with Red Bull Racing at the Design District boutique; David Yurman feted its new Miami flagship then hosted an after party at the Faena Forum; WhatsApp hosted a screening of its Netflix documentary about how Kimi Antonelli became the new Mercedes Formula 1 driver at the Faena Forum; Cadillac held a launch party as the 11th Formula 1 team at Queen, and Carbone Beach returned beachside on South Beach with a three-night extravaganza.
Here are all the celebrities WWD spoke to throughout the 2025 Miami Grand Prix race weekend.

Simone Ashley
Image Credit: Getty Images for IWC Schaffhausen WWD: What’s your favorite IWC watch and why?
Simone Ashley: My own [Ingenieur] Automatic [35 watches.] I think it works perfectly on my wrist because I’ve got small, dainty wrists and I think it wraps around my wrists so perfectly.
WWD: How do you incorporate IWC watches with your personal style?
S.A.: I love how subtle and chic the watches are. I think that’s how I like to see my sense of style. If there’s something quite loud, then that’ll be a bit complicated to pair a watch with it. But I think IWC watches are just so smart and so beautiful in their simplicity, so I like to pair it with maybe jeans or boots or an outfit I’m wearing today that’s chic and simple.
WWD: What was it like filming the F1 movie?
S.A.: It was a crazy experience. We were filming at the Brazil Grand Prix, amongst the real crowd with real races on the bridge. It was chaotic and just so immersive the whole thing.
WWD: What’s your favorite thing about Miami? And what’s it like being in town for the race weekend?
S.A.: The weather and the sunshine! There’s always a buzz in the air and lots of excitement.
WWD: Do you have any upcoming projects you’re excited about?
S.A.: I’m very excited about my new music!

Joe Burrow
Image Credit: Courtesy of Alo Yoga WWD: What’s your favorite thing about being in Miami?
Joe Burrow: The energy down here is unreal. There’s a vibe in Miami that’s hard to match — sun, sports, culture — it’s all happening at once. You can feel the excitement in the air, especially during a big weekend like this.
WWD: Why do you like attending race weekends and the Miami Grand Prix?
J.B.: Formula 1 weekends are all about precision, performance, and style — three things I definitely respect. The Miami Grand Prix especially brings out the best of sport and lifestyle. It’s fast-paced and electric, but there’s also a real focus on style, which I relate to. Plus, I’m a fan of any event that brings the sports world together like this.
WWD: Can you tell me a bit about the Alo look you wore this weekend?
J.B.: Alo made me a custom satin set for the weekend — a soft pink short-sleeve button-up with matching shorts. It was a standout look that felt elevated but still easy and comfortable in the Miami heat. The fabric had just the right amount of shine for the occasion, and the color gave it that bold but refined vibe. Alo really nailed the balance of sport and style with this one.
WWD: What’s your favorite Alo piece? How does the brand fit into your personal style?
J.B.: The Accolade crew neck is a go-to for me — it’s minimal but elevated, which kind of sums up how I like to dress. I want pieces that are comfortable enough to move in but look sharp off the field too. Alo hits that balance really well — it’s functional and fashion-forward without trying too hard.

Odell Beckham Jr.
Image Credit: Courtesy Photo WWD: What’s your favorite thing about being in Miami?
Odell Beckham Jr.: The sun, the food and the culture. I also grew up in the humid heat of New Orleans, so I like to be in that same type of heat when I’m training — it feels like home.
WWD: Why do you like attending F1 race weekends/the Miami Grand Prix?
O.B.J.: This weekend is just a good time for me to see my close friends who are in town for the races and to watch some good competition.
WWD: Can you tell me a bit about the looks you wore this weekend?
O.B.J.: My looks this weekend were about feeling and being free. I am just truly happy with myself, and where I am in my life right now. I know myself and what I like, which is truly such a blessing, and my style is a reflection of that comfort with myself.
WWD: What fashion brands do you go for lately and how do they fit into your personal style ethos?
O.B.J.: To be honest, I can’t really give love to just one brand. I’m really about leaning into what feels true to me at present. If something looks good and I want to wear it, I’m going to wear it — regardless of brand. -
Nicholas Alexander Chavez
Image Credit: Nisha Johny and Jonathan Jacobs WWD: What are your favorite David Yurman pieces?
Nicholas Alexander Chavez: They do bracelets really well and one of their signatures is the pinky ring — which I think is really tasteful.
WWD: How does David Yurman’s jewelry fit in with your personal style?
N.A.C.: For tonight, I tried to go for something pretty understated. I think what makes the brand so cool is that it’s pretty hard to overdo it. I’m wearing three pieces from them and I still feel like my look is pretty understated because the bracelet and the chain necklace are pretty thin.
WWD: What are you most excited about attending the Miami Grand Prix race weekend?
N.A.C.: I’m really rooting for Ferrari. I’m such a big fan of them and their team. Lewis [Hamilton] and I actually have the same personal trainer. I’m rooting for them and it’s my first Formula 1 event and I’m happy to be attending with my brother.
WWD: What got you interested in the sport?
N.A.C.: I grew up a pretty big car guy. I love sports cars; I love exotic cars — I love all different kinds of cars actually. I think Formula 1 is cool because it’s definitely in the [cultural] conversation right now. With the new Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem “F1” movie, it’s definitely in the conversation in a way that hasn’t been in a long time. But I also really like watching people perform at the top of whatever they do. That’s what’s so exciting about Formula 1, the margin for error is razor thin. It’s just a fun, thrilling and exciting sport to watch.
WWD: Do you have any other projects upcoming that you’re excited about?
N.A.C.: I did a film coming out soon called “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” And then I have another film I just shot in New York with Emma Roberts, Noomi Rapace, Ben Platt, Kelsey Asbille and Laura Harrier. It’s called “The Technique” and it’s a psychological thriller. I think people are going to like it a lot.

Nina Dobrev
Image Credit: Courtesy of World Red Eye photographers for David Yurman WWD: What are your favorite David Yurman pieces?
Nina Dobrev: That’s such a hard question! There are so many amazing options. And that was the hardest thing about choosing what to wear tonight. When you’re going to a David Yurman event, they tell you, “pick whatever you want!” and then you have to actually select, which is torturous.
I went with a pinky ring because in my personal life, I’m too afraid to wear a pinky ring because I feel like I’m going to lose it. And then these diamond earrings, which are insane. The quality is just so beautiful.
WWD: How does David Yurman’s jewelry fit in with your personal style?
N.D.: I wanted to wear something tonight that was chic and elevated because it’s easy to think of Miami and go with something short with not a lot of fabric. I wanted [the look] to feel chic and elevated because that’s how David Yurman is. We actually picked the jewelry before the outfit and it worked out perfectly. My dress has a little bit of a jewel on it, so it felt like I needed to keep that going.
WWD: What are you most excited about this weekend?
N.D.: I’m most looking forward to attending the big race on Sunday and supporting our friend Lewis [Hamilton], who’s new to Ferrari. We’ll be in the Ferrari area this weekend. I’m a fan of the support — but I’m friends with Lewis, so I’m a Lewis fan. I’ve been to a lot of races, but this is my first time at the Miami Grand Prix.
WWD: Why do you love Formula 1? Are you a “Drive to Survive” fan?
N.D.: I got really invested. Once I learned about the vehicles and how many people it takes to make the support possible for these drivers and the teams, it’s so amazing to me to see the team effort. It’s both really amazing and heartbreaking. You really need everyone to be functioning at 130 percent for it to go perfectly. The stakes are so high and I’ve gotten invested in everyone’s storylines, which are their entire lives; it’s super exciting.
WWD: Do you have any other projects upcoming that you’re excited for?
N.D.: I just finished up a movie in Australia and had a great time there. We always do July 4th in Idaho, so that’s always fun and lots of other trips are coming up.

Jaime Jacquez Jr.
Image Credit: Courtesy of Tag Heuer WWD: What’s your favorite Tag Heuer watch?
Jaime Jacquez Jr.: I got two. The one I’m wearing right now is the Porsche Panamericana watch and the Monaco. Those are my two favorites.
WWD: How do you incorporate the different watches from Tag Heuer into your personal style?
J.J.J.: I think a watch really completes every outfit. Every guy needs a nice watch. You can never go wrong — it just depends on the color. This black one right here, black and silver, goes along with my black shirt. I made it easy for myself.
WWD: Why do you like attending the Grand Prix? What’s your favorite thing about being in Miami?
J.J.J.: I think my favorite thing about going to the Grand Prix is watching the cars and racers drive. It’s so much fun seeing the cars go by. It’s something I’ve been really passionate about and getting into as of late. I was here last year, so anytime I get a chance to come I really enjoy it.
WWD: What are you most looking forward to at the race weekend?
J.J.J.: I’m looking forward to watching Red Bull get first place!

Tyrod Taylor
Image Credit: Getty Images for TAG Heuer WWD: What’s your favorite watch from Tag Heuer?
Tyrod Taylor: The one that I’m wearing, the Carrera, is my favorite one.
WWD: How do you incorporate it into your personal style?
T.T.: My everyday watch is the Formula 1 x Kith that I received last year. It’s part of my personal style. I love it; I love to work out in it, but I also wear it because it’s a different color than what you would normally see.
WWD: What’s your favorite thing about being in Miami and attending this year’s Grand Prix weekend?
T.T.: This is my first time in Miami for Grand Prix weekend but I’m excited. It’s always a vibrant city; bringing a race to it brings more energy.
WWD: How do you see fashion intersecting with sports for yourself and overall more than ever before?
T.T.: I think it’s a way to express yourself. I’m going on year 15 [in the NFL] and I’ve seen fashion change just within the league. But you see guys using it as a platform to brand themselves. I, myself, have my own clothing line too. I think it’s just grown with more interest in being able to express yourself and showing your confidence in a different way. People see us with the helmets on Sundays, but not a lot of people get a chance to see our personality outside.

Yuki Tsunoda
Image Credit: Courtesy of Tag Heuer WWD: How do you style your Tag Heuer watches with your personal style? How are you dressing for Miami with the heat?
Yuki Tsunoda: The Formula 1 watch collaboration that just dropped now, with all the different colors you can match with different outfits. It fits well with street style, for example. It’s quite adjustable with the style of watches that they’re producing. It’s really cool that you can use it for different outfits.
WWD: What’s your favorite part about being in Miami?
Y.T.: The restaurants! They’re all really international. This heat is really nice. I always enjoy an acai bowl here.
WWD: You’ve come into your own with fashion over the years. How do you describe your style? How has your fashion taste evolved over the years?
Y.T.: My fashion has evolved since I started I joined Formula 1. The year I started, I didn’t have a clear clue about fashion or what I wanted to wear. During the first year, I started working with Alpha Tauri. Naturally, with the team and working with a fashion brand. It made me interested in fashion. Throughout the seasons, especially in my second year, I started to love fashion and I started learning more about how it works. I got super into street style. Now that I’ve moved to Italy, it’s the complete opposite. It’s all [silhouettes] that fit your body and are more respectful of the body.
It can look a bit weird if I go in street style to certain restaurants, so I started to wear nicer shirts in Italy, and it feels great. Naturally, as I’ve aged more, I’ve been able to mesh well with those types of looks. It looks more adult than childish. Now it’s a combination of street style and the Italian style.
And I’m changing between scenes — in the airport, some people like to dress well. But for me, I like to dress comfortably when you have a long flight in the morning, that’s nine or 10 hours long. I don’t want to be stiff and would rather be in a soft material.
I really enjoy different kinds of outfits for different occasions. It’s a limitless environment where I enjoy being.
WWD: How have you seen fashion in the paddock and the evolution within yourself and the teams? How has it become bigger over the years?
Y.T.: It’s good to see. Other drivers have also worn nice stuff. Lewis [Hamilton] started this whole thing. Lewis has really good taste. It’s maybe not what I wear, but I’m also not a Formula 1 World Champion — he has a bigger budget to purchase items.
For me, I want to wear clothes that are closer to fans and what they would wear. I think I’m going in a different direction from Lewis. We both still love fashion. But at the same time, what we wear is quite different. I wear a lot of Zara stuff — people all around the world also purchase their clothes. I want to show people ideas of what they can wear and show that it’s quite easy to match with different products. Sometimes I also get ideas from fans when I’m walking around the Paddock or around the track.
I think every driver is now starting to show their personality through style. On the track, we’re always wearing race suits and helmets, so it’s hard to see everyone’s tastes and outfits. Outfits can showcase people’s personalities easily, which is good for the fans as well.

Shaun White
Image Credit: Courtesy of World Red Eye photographers for David Yurman WWD: What are your favorite David Yurman pieces?
Shaun White: I just got into the Chevron line. All the pieces are so amazing. I wasn’t as familiar with the brand before — and now I can’t not see it. The billboards with the designs. I was excited to come and see.
WWD: How does David Yurman’s jewelry fit in with your personal style?
S.W.: Before, I wasn’t into wearing much jewelry or accessories. When I won my first Olympics, I didn’t realize that beyond medals, you also get rings. You can’t really wear the medals around, but I gotta wear the rings. I started wearing the rings, I was like ‘this is fun’ and it’s a commemorative of that moment in time, but then it introduced me to start wearing more jewelry with watches, bracelets.
Now, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve gotten more confident. I love this line because I feel like you could dress it up and you can dress it down. I could wear this tonight with my suit or just cruise around the city wearing it — I really like that it’s personal like that.
WWD: What are you most excited about during the Miami Grand Prix race weekend?
S.W.: We’re excited! We’ve been to a few races and we’re big fans of the sport. I’m excited to see the Miami track for the first time. Monaco was our first race. I can’t wait to see the cars. It’s really hard to see the track within the city [of Monte Carlo]. So I’m really excited to see the physical track, watch the turns and check out the race.
We’ve become friends with Lewis Hamilton over the years. We’re really excited for him and his new team, Ferrari, and to see what he’s going to do this season. We’ve been hearing his excitement. We were hanging out with him on vacation and then we met up with him for his birthday and he was carrying a little briefcase. And by the end of the trip, I’m like, ‘What’s in the case?’ and he tells me to check it out. It was his Ferrari steering wheel! We’re so excited for him.
WWD: Are there any other drivers or teams you’re supporting?
S.W.: I’ve got a soft spot for Lance Stroll. He’s amazing; we’ve hung out. He’s an avid snowboarder. But maybe I’m just biased — I like the drivers who snowboard. There’s Lando [Norris]. We’ve got some people we’re here with from McLaren, so we’re going to be wearing some [papaya] orange and cheering for them as well. We’re wearing a lot of hats for this event.
WWD: What’s your favorite part of being in Miami?
S.W.: Just being here is exciting. I don’t come to places like this often for work. I normally go to cold places. I haven’t spent much time here — this is probably my third to Miami, so I’m really excited to be in Miami and check it all out. From the first time I came here to this trip, it’s so different. The hotels that have gone up, the venues and there was obviously no Formula 1 racetrack. It’s cool to see how much it’s changed and I’m excited to be here.

Toto Wolff
Image Credit: Jojo Korsh/BFA.com WWD: What is your favorite thing about being in Miami for the race weekend?
Toto Wolff: Miami is always great because it’s just more than the Grand Prix. It’s the parties, the dining, the beach, alongside the sport. All of that is great.
WWD: What are your favorite memes to send in your WhatsApp group chat?
T.W.: It depends on my mood! I use a full span of emotions from sadness to exuberant laughing.
WWD: Who is the most active in your group chats?
T.W.: We have many group chats, and it depends on what it is. I guess I’m one of the more active ones.
WWD: What about between you and your drivers, Kimi and George?
T.W.: I think that would be George. George always has a lot of input.
