Pamela Anderson does not sweat. Not even in high 90-degree-plus New York humidity, and especially not even in full trousers and silk long-sleeve look.
“I don’t really sweat,” she shrugged later when asked how she was keeping so cool, dressed in her own head-to-toe The Row ensemble (a stylist had been offered, but she opted to go more no-frills and work from her own closet) while at Pandora’s New York Fashion Week party. Anderson is the face of Pandora’s latest venture, lab-grown diamonds, which was celebrated Wednesday night at “a new diamond district,” which was a lot on Lafayette Street the jeweler had filled with a red carpet, DJ booth and stage where Caroline Polachek would perform, shopping stations and photo ops.
In addition to Anderson, celebrities like Halle Bailey, Ashley Park, Hari Nef, Barbie Ferreira, Ariana Greenblatt, Gracie Abrams, Evan Mock, Teyana Taylor, Julia Fox and more swung by, all wearing diamonds from the new collection.

The heat was certainly all anyone could focus on. “I feel like I look crazy right now,” Ferreira told her handler as she took a breather from interviews, which she’d been doing with a handheld fan in one hand and a cup of ice water in the other.
“No, you look amazing!” was the reply, as she was guided toward another reporter, who was instructed to keep things audio only for the sake of melting makeup.
After a photo op with Grace Coddington, Anderson was led back to the carpet for a joint shot with Bailey.
“It’s so nice to meet you,” Anderson said to the “Little Mermaid” star, before telling her that on the flight over to New York she’d watched the movie over the shoulder of the passenger in front of her.
“I told her we’re two mermaids!” Anderson said afterward of her interaction with Bailey.
With red carpet duties behind her, Anderson and her two sons, Brandon and Dylan, who were each wearing a subtle diamond necklace with their respective white shirts, headed down the street into a (heavily air-conditioned) luxury trailer parked in front of Indochine. Once inside, the “Love, Pamela” author took off her black patent pumps to give her feet a break (fun fact: Anderson is so accustomed to heels she prefers to fly in them — Stella McCartney’s are her go-tos).
After some small talk with her team about new ideas for Pandora bracelets and the rest of her schedule for New York (which includes taking in friend Ed Ruscha’s new exhibit at MoMA), it was back to the heels and heat.
