SHANGHAI — Tiffany Godoy, one of the best-known fashion editors based in Asia, has announced her next move after stepping down from head of editorial content at Vogue Japan last October.
She has joined the Chinese edition of W magazine as consulting editor at large, WWD has learned exclusively.
Working together with Mix Wei, editor in chief of the local edition of the title initially created as a spin-off of WWD by the late John Fairchild, Godoy will help shape the title’s next chapter, advise on key creative appointments and contribute to content production.
“I’m creating a living exchange through collaborations, content and image-making that connects Chinese and international creativity. The focus is to keep it fresh, outward-facing and in dialogue globally,” she told WWD.
