COFFEE PERK: For those who can use a caffeine fix between shows, New York Fashion Week: The Shows has signed Lavazza, the Italian coffee producer, as a sponsor. Lavazza will have a presence within the Papyrus Café and VIP lounge at Skylight Clarkson Square beginning Thursday and running through next Wednesday.
The café and VIP lounge will offer designers, VIPs, influencers and fashion industry leaders traditional Lavazza coffee experiences including their Gran Filtro Dark Roast and Gran Filtro Decaffeinato roasts each day before, during and after the shows.
In addition to coffee and espresso drinks, on select days, the company will serve up a special coffee treat in the VIP Lounge with espresso popcorn, an original recipe created by Lavazza’s Training Center in Turin.
Lavazza has served as the sponsor for London Fashion Week for more than 15 years.
