WHAT A FEELING: What do you get when you cross Nike, Jacquemus and Nicholas Alexander Chavez? The ultimate thirst trap.
The muscular American actor appears topless and drenched in sweat in the French fashion house’s latest images featuring the Nike x Jacquemus Moon Shoe, unveiled on Wednesday. Shot by Oliver Hadlee Pearch, the campaign shows Chavez, who starred in the Netflix series “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” putting the sneaker through its paces in a dance studio and outdoors.
The shoe, first featured on the runway during the label’s spring 2025 show in January, will be exclusively available on Sunday in all Jacquemus boutiques with preorders, to be followed by an online launch on jacquemus.com on Monday and a wider rollout on Oct. 6 on Nike’s Snkrs app and in selected stores.

Simon Porte Jacquemus, the designer who has cultivated a rabid Instagram following with his sensual, sun-drenched imagery, will join Chavez and Pearch at his flagship on Avenue Montaigne in Paris on Sunday at 11 a.m. to sign a fanzine of the campaign.
The Moon Shoe, originally handmade by Nike cofounder Bill Bowerman for the 1972 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials, was Nike’s first sneaker to incorporate its famed waffle sole innovation. Jacquemus has given it a modern ballet spin with a ruched nylon upper, elasticized back and Nike Regrind outsole.
The style will be available in three colorways: the Jacquemus-exclusive Alabaster, alongside Off Noir and University Red.
“Three years ago, when I visited the Nike archives, I first came across the historic Moon Shoe. I saw a unique, minimal running shoe that was both timeless and modern in its simplicity and execution. I knew it was an opportunity to create a new story and reshape it in the Jacquemus way,” he said in a statement.
“Nicholas Chavez naturally embodies these aspects of sport, sensuality and timeless beauty,” he added.
It marks the fourth footwear collaboration between Nike and Jacquemus, following the Nike x Jacquemus Air Max 1, J Force 1 and Air Humara.
