ANGELINA’S HOUR: Angelina Jolie will guest edit an edition of “Woman’s Hour,” the program on BBC’s Radio 4, as part of a celebrity takeover of the program that runs from June 13 to 17.
Jolie will delve into the refugee crisis, World Refugee Day, and issues concerning survivors of sexual violence in conflict zones.
The program will air on June 17. She joins Mary Berry, Eniola Aluko, Jackie Kay and Professor Sunetra Gupta who will be featured on the show earlier that week.
“Women’s Hour” is a show hosted on BBC Radio 4 and online broadcast during the week from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Previous speakers include authors JK Rowling and Jacqueline Wilson and the actress Kim Cattrall.

The London School of Economics recently tapped Jolie as a professor in practice. She will contribute to guest lecture on women, peace and security for students in a newly created specialist master’s course. As a visiting professor, Jolie will take part in lectures, workshops and events. Jolie moved to the U.K. with her husband Brad Pitt and their six children last March. Pitt is scheduled to film the sequel to Marc Forster’s “World War Z,” playing the role of Gerry Lane, while Jolie will focus on humanitarian work in the U.K.
