LONDON — Swarovski has named Peter Arnold to the new role of senior vice president for corporate branding and communications North America, and global licensing.
Arnold, who currently is chief executive officer of Cynthia Rowley and served for five years as executive director of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, will be based in New York and report to Nadja Swarovski, a member of Swarovski’s executive board.
An announcement is expected later today at the CFDA event in New York.
“Swarovski is honored to sponsor the CFDA awards for the 14th consecutive year,” Nadja Swarovski told WWD. “To cement the relationship further, Swarovski is thrilled to announce the appointment of Peter Arnold, the former executive director of the CFDA.”
The company said Arnold’s appointment reflects Swarovski’s focus on brand development and licensing, and his job will be to strengthen industry relations and collaborations with the fashion, jewelry, art, architecture, design, stage and screen industries.
