PARIS — Kering has appointed Béatrice Lazat to the role of human resource director, effective March 3.
She is replacing Belén Essioux Trujillo, who is to pursue other projects, the group said on Monday.
Joining the group from L’Oréal, where she most recently served as human resources director for the Asia-Pacific region, Lazat is to report to Kering’s managing director Jean-François Palus and also join the French group’s executive committee.
“Her mission will be to continue to adapt Kering’s human resources policy to the group’s new strategic issues,” the company said. “Within her new role, she will capitalize on her dual expertise in marketing and human resources, as well as her experience of diverse cultural environments, all of which will be beneficial both for Kering in operational terms and for Kering teams, in terms of career development.”
Lazat has had more than 20 years of experience, which also include stints at Cartier and Christofle.
