Susan Riley has been appointed chief financial officer of Vestis Retail Group LLC.
Vestis, owned by affiliates of Versa Capital Management LLC, operates the Bob’s Stores, Eastern Mountain Sports and Sport Chalet retail chains.
Riley has served as a consultant to Vestis and as interim cfo in recent months. Earlier in her career, she was executive vice president of finance and administration at The Children’s Place Retail Stores Inc. She’s also held financial posts with Abercrombie & Fitch Co. and Colgate-Palmolive Co.
Mark Walsh, chief executive officer of Vestis, described Riley as “a highly accomplished professional in the areas of financial management and analysis who also brings us valuable strategic perspective from her deep finance career.”
Riley reports to Walsh and will work at the Vestis’s headquarters in Meriden, Conn.
