PARIS — Ralph Toledano has been reelected president of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. The veteran fashion executive and chairman of Victoria Beckham Ltd. has held the post since 2014, when he succeeded Didier Grumbach.
Toledano’s third term has been extended to four years from two years previously, according to a source with knowledge of the vote. His appointment was approved unanimously at the federation’s general assembly on July 12.
A pensive and discreet executive in the vein of Grumbach, also sharing his strong relationships with a broad swath of retailers, Toledano has helmed a number of fashion houses, including Chloé, Guy Laroche and Karl Lagerfeld.
Between 2012 and 2017, he was president of Puig’s fashion division, overseeing brands including Carolina Herrera, Nina Ricci and Jean Paul Gaultier.
