PARIS — Emmanuel Gasnot has been appointed general manager of Dessange International.
Formerly the director of Eugène Perma Group’s professional division, Gasnot also joined the hair care and beauty salon company’s board.
“I decided to expand our management team in light of our acquisition of the North American Fantastic Sams network at the beginning of the year and my will to speed up the development of all our activities, particularly in France and Europe,” Benjamin Dessange, chairman and chief executive officer of Dessange International, related in a letter to franchisees.
Gasnot also previously served as chair of Laboratoires Cosm & Ouest and ceo of Wella France.
As reported, Dessange International in January announced its purchase of the Fantastic Sams hair salon franchise. The buy doubled Dessange’s franchise network to more than 2,000 salons, 1,500 of which are outside of France.
