BERLIN — Aachen, Germany-based cosmetics and spa firm Babor Cosmetics has named Christine Wild head of international sales and country management.
She most recently spent four years at WALA Pharmaceutical GmbH, where she oversaw international sales and the export of brands including Dr. Hauschka. At Babor, Wild and her team will work with distribution partners in 60 countries, and with subsidiaries in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
Babor posted total 2008 beauty sales of $147.6 million, and expects 2 percent growth this year. Seventy percent of the company’s sales are generated outside of Germany and recently Babor added the Philippines and Kuwait to its export roster. The family-run firm is known for its luxury spa services and ampoule-packaged skin treatments.
