Sixty USA, the U.S. division of Sixty Group, has appointed Don Witkowski as chief executive officer.
He succeeds Mark Wiltzer, who held the post for five years and became ceo of Sixty Canada earlier this year.
Most recently, Witkowski was president and owner of Kona Consult Inc., where he consulted for Giorgio Armani, Elie Tahari and James Perse. Earlier, he was president of the collection men’s wear division of Michael Kors, where he helped launch Michael Michael Kors, and before that served as president of Nautica Enterprises and president of Donna Karan International.
In his new role at Sixty USA, a $40 million division of the Italian fashion company Sixty Group, Witkowski will oversee all aspects of the U.S. business, helping with the company’s aggressive growth plan. Sixty’s brands, which include Miss Sixty, Energie, Killah, Sixty and RefrigiWear, are sold worldwide in specialty boutiques, department stores and in Sixty’s proprietary retail stores.
Witkowski, who begins Monday, will be based in New York.
