NEW YORK — Fewer than four months into the job at Liz Claiborne Inc., William L. McComb is entering round two of his executive changes. This time, the chief executive officer is shaking up the group president level.
The only departure is Susan Kellogg, group president overseeing apparel for the bridge and contemporary lines, including Juicy Couture, Ellen Tracy, Dana Buchman, Laundry by Shelli Segal and Prana. Kellogg rejoined Claiborne as vice president of sales for Lizsport in 1998 and became group president in 2004.
Mark Walsh, senior vice president of Mexx Europe Holdings since 2005, will replace Kellogg. He will move from Amsterdam to New York.
Pamela Thomas-Graham, group president for better and moderate apparel, will add men’s wear and midtier brands to her responsibilities. She takes those duties over from Karen Murray, who will continue as group president in charge of international alliances and licensing.
Susan Davidson, group president for non-apparel categories, is adding integration and expansion of Kate Spade. Jill Granoff, group president for direct-to-consumer, will take over Lucky Brand and C&C, formerly Davidson’s brands, along with Sigrid Olsen, of which Thomas-Graham was in charge.
All of the group presidents report to Liz Claiborne Inc. president Trudy Sullivan.
“We believe in consistent brand management from product development to in-store presentation,” Sullivan said. “We also envision a pure delineation among our channels of distribution and the assignment of our proven concepts to the channel best suited to their growth potential. These appointments reflect this philosophy and vision. They are a vital and important step toward optimizing the growth opportunities for our brands and ensuring that our investment in creating targeted and compelling product offerings remains at the core of our overall business strategy.”
