Emilia Fabricant has resigned as president of Destination Maternity Corp. after just three months on the job.
Fabricant cited “personal reasons” for her departure.
“This decision for me was a very difficult one considering how positive I feel about Destination Maternity and its prospects for the future,” she said. “However, I have decided that the best thing for my family is to maintain my residence and continue my career in southern California.”
The Philadelphia-based firm has hired executive recruiting firm Herbert Mines Associates to assist in the search for a new president with a merchandising and marketing background, according to the retailer’s chief executive officer, Ed Krell, who will serve as president in the interim.
