Alexander Panos, formerly of TSG Consumer Partners, said today that he has founded his own private investment firm, dubbed Bookend Capital LLC.
“Bookend targets investments in dynamic consumer product companies,” Panos said. “I have been fortunate to have played significant roles in many success stories, and I look forward to discovering and supporting a next generation of brand builders.”
Panos said the firm will make investments of $5 million to $30 million in companies with $10 million to $80 million in sales, with target categories including beauty, apparel, food and beverages. “We bring flexible capital, expansive industry relationships and our playbook from past experiences,” Panos added.
Prior to founding Bookend Capital, Panos was a general partner and a managing director at TSG Consumer Partners and a member of its investment committee. He left the company in October.
