Pasquale Bruni has long remained a family-owned business committed to meticulous attention to detail. Since 1968, all of the brand’s jewelry has been crafted in Valenza, Italy to ensure consistent quality and craftsmanship across its diverse range of collections — starting from the more daywear-inspired collections, to fine and high jewelry pieces.
As part of its global expansion strategy, the maison has tapped into the Middle East market seeing growth by opening stores in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Kuwait; and Doha, Qatar by the end of this year — which is just the start of its plan to open monobrand boutiques and partner-operated stores while maintaining curated selections with its strong network of prestigious independent retailers. Pasquale Bruni has seen this growth from 2023 to 2024, with an increase of 33 percent.
To highlight this success, Pasquale Bruni chose Georgina Rodriguez — a longtime friend of the house who has worn the maison’s jewelry on numerous important occasions to star in a robust communications campaign rolled out across all Gulf countries — and set to debut at the inauguration of Neom Sindalah.
Other major celebrities who’ve worn the brand are Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian, Olivia Palermo, Eva Longoria, Naomi Campbell, Lady Gaga, Emily Ratajkowski, Jodie Turner-Smith and Jennifer Lopez.
From 2025 until 2028, Pasquale Bruni has plans to also open in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Dubai; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Kingdom Mall); Prague; and Baku, Azerbaijan. And the brand looks to create flagships in major areas of interest such as New York, Miami, Southern California, London and Geneva — with a second boutique in Paris.
Here, Eugenia Bruni, creative director of Pasquale Bruni sat down with Fairchild Studio to discuss the brand’s latest range of Italian artisanal crafted collections, its never-ending pursuit of excellence, upholding family-owned values and more.
Fairchild Studio: Tell us about the latest Pasquale Bruni collections.
Eugenia Bruni: This year’s collections reflect a powerful expression of freedom and lunar mystery. I enjoy storytelling and many of our collections are metamorphoses — each with a strong connection to the other.
The Aleluia collection is an evolution of Giardini Segreti. Giardini Segreti embodies the most intimate expression of womanhood and nature, transforming the leaf into flowers and butterflies. These collections reflect a unique bond between the woman and her jewelry, as each piece is carefully designed to follow the anatomy of both the human body and nature through all its miraculous phases.
This year’s Aleluia collection is a metamorphosis in which leaves become wings, expressing a divine harmony and hymn of love. It features sautoirs that transform through chains of light into various styles, capturing the many facets and expressions of a woman. This versatile sautoir can be worn as a tie, a body chain, or as a traditional sautoir, embodying the dynamic, creative and emotive woman who embodies the Pasquale Bruni spirit.
Moreover, there is a strong lunar influence on the collections — as seen in the Petit Joli collection — where we encounter the new Petit Joli Lunaire and its gems, which I dedicate a lot of research and time studying. Each gem embodies the moon’s most intimate colors — with a strong emphasis on its light — as the moon is light itself.
All these stones merge with lunar gems to create colors that are truly intimate and unique. Within its deepest and purest hues. We find pinks reminiscent of the skin, earthier tones and a special green that mirrors the nature that surrounds us.
Each lunar gem is paired with its stone and represents a deep and vibrant sentiment. Moonstone and chalcedony embody love; moonstone and green agate symbolize our profound connection with nature and moonstone and onyx denote strong ties to the earth. These three elements are fundamental to us.
Recently showcased at Paris Haute Couture, the Heart to Earth collection expresses a powerful connection between heart and earth. This high jewelry collection exemplifies remarkable savoir-faire, capturing the miracle of nature — much like flowers blooming in the most unexpected places, such as through rocks.
It symbolizes the strength and humanity of a woman, conveying that anything is possible. This floral motif is reflected in the diamond-setting technique, creating a continuous blossoming of light through these rivières, where stones intertwine like rivers, showcasing the vitality of rubies, the strength of royal blue sapphires and the heart chakra within emeralds. These gemstones, with their deep and intense colors, embody a marvelous quest for wonder.
Fairchild Studio: What was the inspiration behind the campaign?
E.B.: The campaign draws inspiration from women and their passionate relationship with their most intimate companion: the jewel. I also find inspiration in the way deities were portrayed and how the soul of a jewel enables women to wear it as though it were part of themselves — a talisman infused with pure and boundless energy.
Fairchild Studio: How does this collection speak to Pasquale Bruni’s aesthetic by merging its heritage for the modern day?
E.B.: The connecting thread between Pasquale Bruni’s past and present is the ability to evoke emotions, the savoir-faire and an unending pursuit of excellence — embodied in the pavé work that has always been part of our DNA. This brilliant pavé is tactile and smooth, reminiscent of silk and reflects our continuous quest to engage the wearer’s senses — from sight, to touch and, ultimately, the experience of wearing it.
Fairchild Studio: Who is the modern Pasquale Bruni customer?
E.B.: Our clients have always been discerning and sophisticated. They know what they want and they let themselves be guided by our jewelry, allowing it to transport them through the emotions it evokes. Behind each piece is a profound pursuit of energy and heart, creating a powerful bond between the client and the jewelry. I strongly believe that the true essence of a piece — the very heart of it — is its ability to let its keeper fall in love with it more deeply each day.
Fairchild Studio: What’s next for the brand?
E.B.: We are growing significantly, which is both wonderful and important. Our goal is to continue on this trajectory while staying true to the ethics that define us. One of the greatest challenges is to grow and ride this wave — just as we do in our collections — with light, integrity and a strong connection to our DNA.
As a family-owned business, we are committed to upholding these values that are fundamental to us. For me, for my family and for everyone who works with us as part of our Pasquale Bruni family. In this spirit, we will continue to work with fervent passion and dedication as we expand across all markets, sharing our most beautiful message: to bring light to the world while preserving authenticity, strong morals and timeless values.
