Cryptocurrency project – CruxDecussata by the ticker of $X (CRUX), recently launched what proved to be possibly the world’s most provocative music video in the crypto industry.
In the music video, was filmed in black and white monochrome, inspired by American fashion photographer Herb Ritts, known for his black-and-white photography. The creative direction was inspired by 50-shades of grey, with elements of BDSM – leather restraints, models dancing sensually in slow motion. Spotted are the words illuminati and FreeMasons, on the black tape covering private areas on the model’s taut bodies.

The music video features globally renown crypto influencer Herbert Sim commonly known as the Bitcoin Man®, film star Valeriia Karaman (who shared a sex scene with Twilight star Robert Pattinson in the movie Lighthouse) and award-winning DJ Nicole Chen from Singapore. The project owns the domain name of crux decussata symbol – ☓.com, by the punycode of xn-- 33h.com – not to be confused with English alphabet X.com which is owned by Elon Musk. But it is because of the similarities that caused the project to explode in popularity among the crypto enthusiasts, particularly among the meme-coin ‘degens’, a term, short for “degenerate,” often used to refer to a person who is involved in high-risk, speculative trading or investing in cryptocurrencies.
The founder of CruxDecussata, known only as ‘The Dev’ or ‘CP33,’ is an anonymous persona. The Dev bought the domain URL of xn--33h.com from Herbert in 11 July 2023, and launched the project on Aug. 1, 2023.
Herbert was among the world’s first few educating people about the Cypherpunk movement, and founded the world’s first repository for compiling crypto and blockchain research papers – Crypto Chain University (CCU), established in 2010. The domain URL of xn--33h.com was used by CCU from 2010-2014, thus being nostalgic for fellow cypherpunks to reminisce about. The launch of $X (CRUX) was a call for all cypherpunks to unite.
The Cypherpunk Manifesto was written by Eric Hughes in 1993, championing privacy and decentralization. And 15 years later, the Bitcoin Whitepaper was birthed in 2008. The founder of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto was definitely influenced by the Cypherpunk movement, where Bitcoin’s essence is all about privacy and decentralization. Even the owner of English Alphabet X.com, is a cypherpunk. Traces of the website URL email was found on the Cypherpunk’s mailing list.
Coincidentally, English alphabet X.com created a notepad signature on Jan. 3, 2009 with the words xn—33h.com and 666, which goes to show there is correlation between English alphabet X.com, and crux decussata symbol – ☓.com, dating back to 2009.
