Ashley Graham will be joining WWD editors Alex Badia, Booth Moore and Jenny B. Fine and beauty expert Jonathan Van Ness to host WWD’s inaugural pre-show red carpet livestream for the 82nd annual Golden Globes, offering her unique insights to WWD’s Eye on the Red Carpet. The team will interview A-list celebrities and share behind-the-scenes moments from the red carpet as they provide in-depth reporting on style coming to life for viewers at home.
For her own glam look on the Golden Globes red carpet, Graham brought in L.A.-based makeup artist Ivan Núñez and cofounder of Highlight Artists and hair stylist Justine Marjan at the stunning Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
“We’re giving Ashley a gorgeous ’90s-inspired look,” said Núñez. “We’re going to go in with the Revlon Day to Night Eyeshadow Quad to give a gorgeous, feline, pulled-snatched eye shadow look. And then for the lip, we’re going to use the Revlon Colorstay Multi-liner, which I love.”
Notably, Núñez shared that he would be using four different shades of the color stay multiliner to add dimension to her look.
For Graham’s hair, Marjan said she would be working on “a really undone, French girl-inspired, French twist.” To get the look, she started with a finished glam blow-dry before loosely pulling the hair back. The look, she said, is designed to show off “her gorgeous face on camera.”
“I’m so excited,” said Graham. “Honestly, every time I work with Justine and Ivan we just have a little conversation and then I just say ‘go.’ I trust them and I can just blindly walk into it. I know they’re going to take care of me.”
