Nordic Impact: Oslo Skin Lab Lands in Milan

The holistic skin care brand founded in 2017 is present in 13 countries across Europe and the U.S.

Norwegian beauty brand Oslo Skin Lab, for which Kate Winslet recently became brand ambassador, landed in Milan.

On Thursday, the city welcomed the first Italian Beauty Studio by Oslo Skin Lab, an exclusive pop-up on the city’s bustling promenade, Corso Garibaldi. The pop-up will be open until Oct. 26.

Founded in 2017, Oslo Skin Lab’s skin care lines are rooted in Nordic holistic skin care. With the pop-up, the firm will introduce The Recipe, a line developed with advanced probiotic technology to support the skin’s natural balance.

The two-phase probiotic delivery system supports the skin’s microbiome, a crucial factor in skin balance and aging, Cecilie Nordstrøm, founder and head of Oslo Skin Lab, explained.

Alongside the Probiotic Night Serum Kit, the complete The Recipe collection features a cleanser, day serum, day cream, eye cream and body cream.

“With The Recipe, we’ve taken that same science-led philosophy into topical skin care. We’ve succeeded in creating a unique formulation that delivers live, active bacteria, something that’s extremely difficult to achieve in traditional skin care. Our two-phase system ensures the probiotics remain alive and effective, helping to strengthen the skin’s microbiome and promote visible results,” Nordstrøm says.

A calendar of events that include face yoga and expert talks such as a Q&A session with dermatologist Chiara Bonatti, will accompany the debut.
