From Tom Ford to Givenchy, pink is being embraced by a bevy of brands. And no wonder: Of the top 125 best-selling new lip-color shades in 2012, 24 percent were pink, according to The NPD Group, while in the nail category, 18 percent of the best-selling colors were a rosy hue.
C IS THE NEW B:
Standing for Color Correct, CC Creams are the latest Asian phenomena to hit beauty shelves. From Korean skin-care leader Amore Pacific comes a cushion compact, while Nip + Fab has fashioned a CC cream for eyes and Smashbox is targeting dark spots. Look for Clinique’s blockbuster version in April.
