L’Oréal Hosts Hairdresser Forum

The three-day event in Cannes, France, is meant to raise the bar of the hairdressing industry.

PARIS — L’Oréal Professional Products Division is hosting a three-day business event in Cannes, France, with the aim of raising the standard of the hairdressing industry.

The L’Oréal Professionnel Business Forum, which began on Monday, includes 2,200 hairdressers and salon owners from 63 countries.

“The program of the forum is designed to decode trends and consumers’ evolution, emphasizing the need for constant innovation in salons through new services, education master classes, artistic and aspirational shows,” L’Oréal said in a statement.

“At L’Oréal Professional Division, our responsibility as the leader of the industry is to help hairdressers develop their business and valorize their expertise,” stated An Verhulst-Santos, president of L’Oréal Professional Products.

“Alongside breakthrough technology and product innovation, we truly believe that education is an essential and decisive driver to grow the industry,” continued Anne-Laure Lecerf, international managing director of L’Oréal Professionnel.

L’Oréal Professional Products includes 10 brands, including L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Redken and Matrix. The division has partnered with an estimated 1.5 million hairdressers, and it trains more than 500,000 hair professionals yearly.
