Thierry Jaugeas Tapped at Sephora France

Sephora has named Thierry Jaugeas managing director of Sephora France.

PARIS — Sephora has named Thierry Jaugeas managing director of Sephora France.

Jaugeas, who was previously managing director of Sephora Asia, took up the role Wednesday, replacing Maciej Szymanski, who has been named president of Sephora China. Jaugeas, 49, had held his Sephora Asia title since 2005 and was responsible for the retailer’s introduction in China. His previous titles at the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned firm included director of Eastern European operations, concept and development director and financial and administrative director.

Szymanski, 38, also took on his new title Wednesday. His previous roles included managing director of Sephora Eastern Europe, which he formed in 1999.
