Missoni Beauty: Bianca Jagger Meets Kate Moss

“It’s Seventies hair with a rock and roll face,” makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury said backstage at the Missoni show.

“It’s Seventies hair with a rock and roll face,” makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury said backstage at the Missoni show.

The look Tilbury created for the runway was a blend of Bianca Jagger in the Seventies and Kate Moss “after she jumped in a swimming pool with makeup on,” quipped Tilbury.

The look featured a striking eye — which was first lined with a soft brown pencil, gilded with MAC Cosmetics’ turquoise glitter and Clear Lipglass, then given some black mascara. “We are really dragging the glitter right up to the brow and onto the cheekbone,” said Tilbury, who added the look could be softened down for a night on the town.

“You can do it at home, just blend a bit of turquoise glitter over the brown eyeliner — it’s a little sparkle of color that’s very sexy.” Tilbury kept the rest of the Missoni face simple: bronzer on the cheekbones and a pale, nude lip.
