Eyes Flash, Lips Pop at Rebecca Taylor

Bold lips were back at Rebecca Taylor, where Romy Soleimani did what she called a “vibrant, superbright, strawberry-pop lip.”

Working on behalf of MAC Cosmetics, Soleimani made eyes sparkle with a bluish, glitter lip gloss applied to the crescent of the cheekbone and eyelid. “It’s polished and punky at the same time,” she said. “It’s a confident, young, fresh face.” Brows were filled in with soft shades that were chosen to match models’ natural coloring.

Hairstyles at Rebecca Taylor were inspired by a classic Forties look, according to hairstylist Bokhee. “But it’s more modern,” she added. “It looks like [the girls] have done it themselves.”

Bokhee pulled the hair up and separated it into several pieces, which she then twisted into a swirling, sprawling bun that was bobby-pinned atop the head. “It’s like a little girl playing dress-up — that’s where we got the idea,” said Bokhee.
