LINEAGE: Dubbed an “It” girl by just about every social mag, the accessories designer is the daughter of Logistec Corp. board member George Gugelmann.
NUGGETS: A former event planner and occasional model, Gugelmann was an All-American lacrosse player and studied at Bowdoin College.
Nicky Hilton
ACCESSORY: The younger Hilton sister has dabbled in designing handbags, clothing and, most recently, costume jewelry.
LINEAGE: Great-granddaughter of Hilton Hotels founder Conrad Hilton and sister of Paris Hilton, who needs no introduction.
NUGGETS: Barring relationship speculation, Nicky, aka the less controversial Hilton sister, tends to keep her name out of the tabloids.

LINEAGE: From Baton Rouge, La., Jones doesn’t have the typical social story. She sprung on the scene in the late Nineties, trading digits with models, socialites and notably, designer Zac Posen.
NUGGETS: Has been dubbed the “black Paris Hilton” and called a “social climber” in the same breath. No matter, in 2006, Vogue crowned her the “Girl of the Moment,” and while that moment may have passed, Jones is still out there doing her thing.

ACCESSORY: Started FEED Projects, a line of reusable bags that she began designing in 2006 to benefit the United Nations World Food Program’s School Feeding operations. She also launched her own fashion brand in 2008 called Lauren Pierce.

NUGGETS: The family’s 75-year-old rug company filed for bankruptcy reorganization in April. After a cameo on “Gossip Girl,” Mortimer was given her own reality show called “High Society,” which was canceled after eight episodes last year.
