Ralph Lauren Corp. has renewed its licensing agreement with Luxottica Group for the design, production and worldwide distribution of the Ralph Lauren and Polo Ralph Lauren labels.
The 10-year pact, which was first signed in 2007, has been extended through 2027.
Last month, Luxottica inked an agreement to help promote Milan’s prestigious Teatro alla Scala as a private ordinary founder.
In the second quarter of 2016, Luxottica, whose portfolio includes several house brands, including Ray-Ban, Oakley and Oliver Peoples, as well as licensed labels such as Giorgio Armani, Michael Kors and Prada, reported net sales of 2.23 billion euros, or $2.42 billion at average exchange, up 3.2 percent compared with the previous quarter.
