LaQuan Smith presented his spring 2024 ready-to-wear fashion show in New York City on Monday, during New York Fashion Week. The highly anticipated event was attended by Saweetie, Kimora Lee Simmons, Summer Walker, Mary J. Blige and other stars. WWD takes a closer look at the standout looks from LaQuan Smith’s front row.
Mary J. Blige
Blige, who is no stranger to head-turning ensembles, wore a copper-colored corset with a zipper-adorned miniskirt and a coordinating crop jacket. The songstress paired her distressed look with thigh-high boots, which throughout the years have been her shoe signature choice, and aviator sunglasses.
Kimora and Ming Lee Simmons
Kimora and Ming Lee Simmons coordinated in stripes. Kimora wore a minimalist black minidress, which featured monochromatic stripes, while Ming went bold in a sheer nude and black striped jumpsuit.

Babyface added a textured statement to a monochromatic black look in an oversize jacket with a croc-inspired pattern and large shirt pocket. “It was an honor to be invited back for a second year to witness your greatness! It was the hottest ticket in town last night. From beginning to end, everything was perfect,” he wrote on Instagram.
