Sharabati’s Expanded Production Facility Focuses on Spinning

Sharabati is making significant strides in its growth with the opening of a new production facility.

The new facility is expected to significantly boost the company’s output while maintaining high quality standards. Located in Sadat City in Egypt, the site is approximately the same size as the company’s headquarters, designed to accommodate around 2,000 workers, contributing positively to the local economy. The denim manufacturer began construction on for the facility in July 2023.

The facility includes two spinning halls, a warping and sizing hall, a gabardine weaving hall, and a shuttle loom weaving hall.

The spinning process is a key area focus. The first spinning hall houses 15 splicing machines for producing Lycra and dual core weft yarn. Sharabati noted how these  machines are known for their superior quality and efficiency, helping to mitigate common quality issues associated with dual core yarns. The hall is also equipped with 15 spinning machines that specialize in producing poly-cotton yarn.

The second spinning hall features 30 spinning machines producing combat and carded yarn production. The third hall includes three warping machines and two sizing machines.

Additionally, there are four large cotton storage facilities, underscoring the scale of the operation.

A spokesperson for the company told Rivet Sharabati is planning for more machinery.

“This substantial investment demonstrates Sharabati’s commitment to expanding its operations and enhancing production capacity with superior quality, particularly in spinning and yarn production,” the company said in a statement.
