Blue jeans are a fall staple for any wardrobe, including during New York Fashion Week. Whether to a presentation or a post-show party, jeans had a front-row view of the festivities.
Relaxed, vintage-looking jeans were a popular choice, paired with everything from a crips button-down shirt or white tee to ’90s-inspired plaids. Classic belts, trendy flip-flops and colorful accessories brought the looks together.
Jeans with metallic coatings or laser-print florals and jeans covered with silver studs were among the most statement-making denim.
Denim shirts were popular—often worn oversized and undone.
Jean jackets were worn shrunken and cropped. Styles with contrasting or billowy drop sleeves updated the staple, though plenty of classic Trucker jackets were also spotted. While Western was all the range during recent fashion weeks, these jackets were styled with blue jeans for a double-denim moment or pieces inspired by classic Americana workwear for a more utilitarian look.
