Despite its urban roots, Noah, the New York City-based lifestyle brand, has a green thumb.
The brand recently collaborated with Japanese gardening gear company, Niwaki, to develop a collection of apparel and tools.
A boxy chore jacket made from Japanese selvedge denim anchors the collection. The workwear item features two patch pockets on the front along with a pen pocket. Two more pockets are at the waist and back, and a hammer loop is on the side. Niwaki’s logo is printed on the back.
A “Made in USA” cotton canvas garden tote features both brands’ embroidered logos on either side.
The collection also includes two of Niwaki’s most sought-after tools—carbon steel secateurs, or hand pruners, for essential gardening duties and a folding saw with beech handles. Both tools are made in Japan and feature both logos.
“Niwaki is precisely our kind of people,” Noah stated. “We admire their perfectionism and care, bringing impeccable design and Japanese craftsmanship into any green space, from quiet country gardens to urban window boxes alike.”
The Noah x Niwaki collection is available now and retails for $32-$278. Each order comes with a free packet of pollinator-friendly wildflower seeds to support bee populations.
