Los Angeles premium denim brand Mother Denim launched its first petite collection.
Called the Lil’ Mother Collection, the initial five styles include best-selling basics and two petite exclusive styles re-proportioned to fit and flatter those 5’4” and under.
“For our Lil’ Mother Collection, we’ve adjusted the proportions of our top denim styles with petite ratios in mind. The knee placement is higher, and the inseam and rise are shorter, so the styles hit in all the right places,” the brand states on its website.
The “Made in LA” collection offers The Weekender Fray, a mid-rise flare jean with a sneaker-length inseam and frayed hem. The jean comes in the brand’s medium blue wash, A Groovy Kind of Love. The Lil’ Hustler Ankle Fray is also part of the collection, available in a mid-blue wash with fading and a washed black denim with subtle white grain.
Petite-exclusive styles include the The Lil’ Insider Crop Step Fray, a high-waisted ankle-length bootcut in a dark indigo wash, and The Lil’ Mid Rise Dazzler Ankle, a stretch denim jean with a clean hem and mid-blue wash.
The petite collection is available in waist sizes 23-34. Jeans retail for $226-$258.
