Australian brand VRG GRL introduced a denim collection filled with unexpected twists on classic silhouettes. The collection leans into denim dressing with items like tops, dresses and shorts.
Highlights include a 100 percent cotton V-neck tunic, barrel jean and mid-rise micro short in an orange peel medium wash. Leopard print shorts coordinate with a leopard print top with a rounded collar. A halter top pairs with a mini skirt.

The women’s brand recently launched the Old School, a wide leg jean the brand describes as “the love child of your hardest-working pants and your coolest jeans.” The $109 jean has a flattering high rise and a wide leg.
Old School is made with 12 oz. stretch denim from Cone Denim and comes in classic blue. and maintains some of the functional details from Dovetail’s original jeans. It has deep front pockets, a secure phone pocket, nested thigh pockets, and a low-profile tool loop that lays flat.
The jean is part of DoveLab, Dovetail’s platform for trying new concepts and ideas. It is available now on Dovetail’s website.
Dan Post
Dan Post is making it easier to wear denim head-to-toe.
The U.S. boot brand introduced the Denim Darlin’, a collection of women’s denim boots made with black and blue denim.
Denim Darlin’ styles feature a 19-inch shaft made with denim and lined with leather. They have leather outsoles and low western heels. The boots boast Dan Post’s signature Ultimate Flex Insole designed to eliminate the need to “break in” uncomfortable cowboy boots. The boots retail for $274.95.
Dan Post has dabbled in denim footwear from time to time. The brand previously launched the men’s Bullock and women’s Ellie—denim and leather boots styles with a vintage flair.
