Hudson Unveils Second Collection with Celebrity Stylist

A new collaboration brings tunnel fashion to Hudson’s assortment for fall. The Centric Brands-owned denim label reunited with Brandon Williams, a stylist to some of the NBA, MLB and NFL’s most fashionable athletes, on an elevated capsule collection for men.

Williams, the mastermind behind the looks worn by clients like Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Mike Conley, Utah Jazz power forward Rudy Gay and New York Knicks forward Julius Randle, was inspired by pieces he’d want to have in his own closet.

“After a successful first partnership with Brandon, we wanted to continue the momentum into a second collection,” said Kayla Churchill, Hudson’s director of marketing. “He was dedicated and passionate during the entire design and styling process and many items from the first collection sold out. His popularity in the sports community and beyond created new brand exposure and customer demand for Hudson.”

The collection, named “Best Collaboration” at the Project x Rivet Awards in Las Vegas in February, focuses on comfort—be it in cozy knits or loose fits.

Wide-leg jeans come in dark and vintage-inspired washes. Williams taps into the quiet luxury trend with a cream-colored mock neck sweater and knit pants. A camel Trucker jacket and cargo pants come in Hudson’s popular vegan leather.

Detroit Blue cargo pants and short-sleeve work shirt add a pop of color to the collection as well as long-sleeve tees available in gold and blue. The collection also includes a distressed kick-flare jean with buckled hems and a distressed cream-colored flare jean.

Each style name gives a nod to some of Williams’ friends and family members that have supported him throughout his life. Items are named after his father, sister Achea, friend and Milwaukee Bucks point guard Jrue Holiday and his best friends and NFL players Nick Moore and Lance Moore.

The collaboration is available now on Hudson’s website and retails for $175-$365.

Hudson’s first partnership with Williams launched in February 2022. The 14-piece collection spanned kick flare, slim and straight jeans, military cargo pants and tops and jackets designed for monochromatic layering.

The brand previously worked with Zoe Costello, the Los Angeles-based stylist with a client roster that spans Tyga, Jessica Chastain, Jacob Eldori, Halsey, Grimes and more, for a Fall 2022 capsule capturing the style of young Hollywood.

Despite being affected by the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, celebrity stylists are stepping further into the limelight. Madewell recently bowed a collection with Molly Dickson, whose star-studded clientele includes Riverdale star Camila Mendes, Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink and Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney.  The actors served as inspiration for the limited-edition capsule .
