Apparel Group Launches Levi’s Kids in India

Levi’s Kids is destined for India.

On Wednesday, the San Francisco-based denim brand announced a new partnership with global fashion and lifestyle retail conglomerate Apparel Group to launch Levi’s Kids in the Indian market.

Levi’s Kids will offer the brand’s multigenerational legacy of craftsmanship and authenticity to children aged 4-16. The collection blends iconic Levi’s design DNA with kid-first functionality, including stretch fabrics, adjustable waistbands, reinforced stitching and movement-friendly fits. The collection will span cotton T-shirts, hoodies and chinos to versatile denim jackets, skirts, shorts, and jeans in multiple washes.

The collection arrives as Indian consumers increasingly seek global brands, durable quality and value-driven fashion for their children. Apparel Group India says the region’s premium children’s wear segment is rapidly expanding. Through its extensive omnichannel network and deep consumer insight, the company is positioned to accelerate the growth and nationwide scale of Levi’s Kids.

The brand has already debuted on e-commerce marketplaces and a “phased rollout” is on the horizon for stand-alone stores.

“The introduction of Levi’s Kids marks an exciting milestone in our journey of bringing world-class brands and value-driven retail experiences to Indian consumers,” said Abhishek Bajpai, Apparel Group India CEO. “Premium kidswear is a high-potential category, and Levi’s—backed by its heritage, trust, and universal appeal—is uniquely positioned to lead it. We look forward to building a strong and enduring footprint for Levi’s Kids in India.”

Other Apparel Group India brands include BCBG, Ben Sherman and Victoria’s Secret.

The U.S. heritage denim brand has been making inroads in India. In 2024, Levi’s opened its largest store in the country, an owned-and-operated 9,150 square foot store in New Delhi’s Pacific Mall, which attracts approximately 1 million visitors each month. The brand also launched high-profile campaigns with Indian celebrities like Diljit Dosanjh and Alia Bhatt.

In September, the company announced the LS&Co. Energy Accelerator Program (LEAP), a program to increase access to renewable electricity for its supply chain in India.
