American Eagle (AE) is preparing for festival season by aligning with rising country music artists.
On Wednesday, the No. 1 jeans brand for Gen Z unveiled Jeans Country, a campaign designed to spotlight its denim heritage and connect with youth culture. The campaign features multi-platinum country star Bailey Zimmerman and additional talent. The 26-year-old “Rock and a Hard Place” singer has amassed over 7.5 billion global career streams to date and earned five No. 1 singles at Country radio.
The campaign highlights Zimmerman’s favorite AE pieces such as the EasyFlex Loose jeans, AirFlex+ Original Bootcut jeans and a boxy lightweight flannel shirt and crew neck tank tops.
The campaign builds on AE’s recent partnership with multi-platinum singer-songwriter Ella Langley.
Consumers will experience Jeans Country at Stagecoach, the Indio, Calif. country music festival taking place April 24-26. As the exclusive apparel and denim sponsor of Stagecoach, American Eagle will host on-site experiences throughout the weekend, including festival product customization, interactive games, meet and greets, and more.
Additionally, Langley and Zimmerman will sport custom AE looks when they take the Stagecoach stage.
“Country music and denim are synonymous, and American Eagle is claiming center stage,” said Jennifer Foyle, AE and Aerie president, executive creative director. “Driven by a new generation of artists and fans, AE’s partnership with Stagecoach, Ella Langley, and Bailey Zimmerman is all about showing up at the intersection of culture and fashion. Through our signature AE jeans, we are bringing the denim-on-denim trends, relaxed fits, and festival-ready looks that are defining our customers’ unique style.”
As part of its partnership with Stagecoach, American Eagle launched the AE x Stagecoach co-branded collection. The limited-edition product line spans men’s loose and baggy denim fits, bandana-printed shorts and mechanic shirts to women’s maxi dresses, tube tops and suede fringe vests.
Available online, in select American Eagle stores, and onsite at Stagecoach, the collection retails for $17.95-$89.95.
