American specialty retailer Rue21 announced the appointments of Elisa Bannon-Jones as senior vice president, chief people officer, and Michele Pascoe as executive vice president, chief financial officer.
With a career as a recognized and award-winning HR, people and culture executive, Bannon-Jones brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role, having previously served as chief people officer at GNC and Frontier Communications. In addition to her five years with Rue21, Pascoe brings decades of executive leadership experience in finance across various industries, including previously serving as CFO at Marsh Supermarkets and Fashion Bug.

PVH Corp.
Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein’s parent company, PVH Corp., announced the appointment of Sophia Hwang-Judiesch as the president of Tommy Hilfiger North America, effective Jan. 8. Amba Subrahmanyam will be promoted to chief people officer at PVH. Both leaders will join the company’s executive leadership team and Hwang-Judiesch will also become a key global Tommy Hilfiger leadership team member.
Hwang-Judiesch is an experienced leader recognized for driving growth at omnichannel brands like Ulta Beauty, Carter’s Oshkosh and Espirit. She joins Tommy Hilfiger from Hudson’s Bay, where she served as president. Subrahmanyam joined PVH in February 2022 and currently serves as executive vice president of people for PVH Americas and Calvin Klein Global. She succeeds Julie Fuller, who is leaving PVH to pursue other opportunities, effective Feb. 5.

Sportswear giant Adidas‘ supervisory board has appointed Michelle Robertson as executive board member, responsible for global human resources, people and culture, effective Jan. 1. Robertson has been with Adidas and previously Reebok in different HR roles for more than 18 years. Since July, she has been leading global human resources at Adidas on an interim basis, reporting to CEO Bjørn Gulden.

Sustainable children’s apparel brand Hanna Andersson announced the appointment of Lisa Perlmutter as chief customer officer, effective Dec. 13. In this newly created role, Perlmutter will oversee all customer touchpoints, driving strategic expansion and digital growth. Perlmutter brings board experience across DTC and omnichannel retail industries, holding roles across marketing, e-commerce and digital product management. She most recently served as the SVP of marketing and e-commerce at Brilliant Earth.
Gucci
Italian luxury brand Gucci has named Massimo Vian, former COO of Prada, as head of industrial operations and supply chain. In this newly created role, he will be responsible for product development and manufacturing processes for leather goods, footwear, ready-to-wear and jewelry categories as well as the product allocation process across sales channels. Vian will start in January, reporting directly to Gucci’s president and CEO, Jean-François Palus.
AG Jeans
Glenn McMahon, AG Jeans’ first CEO, has left the company after seven months, the denim brand confirmed to Sourcing Journal. He first joined the company in July.
HanesBrands
Innerwear giant Hanesbrands announced that its board of directors has appointed Wiliam S. Simon to serve as chairman of the board, effective Dec. 31. His appointment follows Ronald L. Nelson’s decision to retire as chairman and a member of the Board at the end of the year.
Simon has been a director at the company since 2021 and has previously served on the talent and compensation committee and the governance and nominating committee. He is an executive advisor to the KKR & Co. investment firm and president of WSS Venture Holdings, a consulting and investment company, after having served as president and CEO of Walmart U.S., and brings extensive senior leadership skills and deep experience as a public company director at other consumer-facing companies.
Cheryl K. Beebe and Ann E. Ziegler will also retire as members of the board on Dec. 31.

Digitally native purveyor of underwear, bras and loungewear, MeUndies, announced that Ariel Stoddard will join the company as its chief revenue officer. Stoddard will lead teams across performance marketing and customer experience in her new role. Stoddard is a seasoned executive with over a decade of strategy and marketing experience. Most recently, Stoddard was the general manager at Fabletics, where she owned the P&L for the global active-lifestyle brand and oversaw its category expansion strategy with this year’s launch of Fabletics Scrubs.

Provider of AI-powered autonomous inventory management solutions for warehouses company Gather AI has named Andrew Hoffman as chief technology officer. Hoffman brings technical and leadership experience scaling supply chain-focused robotics companies from founding to exit, with more than 20 patents in robots, robot coordination and collision avoidance.
Hoffman most recently served as an entrepreneur in residence at tech-focused venture capital firm, Xplorer Capital, a Gather AI investor, where he has mentored several companies, including Gather AI.

Technology manufacturer changing the apparel industry through the application of artificial intelligence, ZapClo, has appointed industry veteran Don Jones as global chairman. Jones has a distinguished career spanning 40 years in the retail sector, having held senior executive roles at brands including Target, Ikea, Gap and Macy’s.

Rodriguez is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of global end-to-end supply chain experience, bringing a deep understanding of global logistics and customer care to the role. In his most recent role at Flexport, he created and delivered airfreight solutions.

Textile innovation brand that aims to commercialize the art of embroidery, Coloreel, has appointed Lucia Eklöf as vice president of customer success. Eklöf joins the company with a sales background and an understanding of international textile business dynamics. Prior to her role at Coloreel, Eklöf managed key accounts at Coats, a global leader in thread manufacturing, where she was responsible for a large portfolio of prominent Scandinavian apparel and footwear brands and their global operations.
