Shop Ruggable x Anthropologie’s Chic (and Washable!) Rug Release
As Ruggable and Anthropologie would have you know, a home doesn’t need to be perfect to be beautiful. The original washable rug company and the buzzy, It-girl-approved clothing, accessories, and home brand (which knows how to stage a viral moment, à la its recent rock collection), have just collaborated on ten signature products — from doormats to tufted area rugs and runners — that are meant to be thoroughly enjoyed and not just gazed at.
The Ruggable x Anthropologie release couldn’t have come at a better time. After all, holiday hosting duties are upon us and intentional life upgrades (of the home included) enter the cultural conversation every January 1, like clockwork. According to both brands, nothing here is overly precious. Instead, the selections’ shared purpose is to make your abode an oasis of calm, while encouraging moments spent with loved ones: laughing, eating, and, should that roasted ham dish suddenly fall from your plate onto the rug, not having to worry one bit about cleanup.
“Our partnership with Ruggable has been effortless thanks to our shared belief that home is where life unfolds,” Katherine Finder, Anthropologie Home’s chief merchandising officer, said in a press release. “Together, we created a collection that seamlessly combines Anthropologie’s distinct design sensibility with Ruggable’s unparalleled functionality. Each rug is designed to support the way our customers truly live, encouraging homes that feel effortlessly layered, warmly lived-in, and authentically their own.”
Every last piece — including the Ella Slate Blue Rug, with its floral motifs plus chintz-inspired, vintage-coded allure, and the Tigris Blue Rug that puts a more approachable and homey spin on the animal-print trend dominating fall/winter 2025 fashions — is rich with texture, exudes warmth, and will help you step into the new year from the comforts of a home sweet home that now looks even sweeter. “These rugs are made to feel collected, not staged,” Ruggable shares. And what a breath of fresh air this is.
Ruggable is no stranger to collaborations. Its Jonathan Adler partnership this past summer, which surprised longtime fans by unveiling a line of darling pet beds, was an editor-tested favorite for us, and the brand has also dropped a “Wicked” collection, one made with the legendary fashion designer Iris Apfel, and many others in the past. The latest Anthropologie rollout, though, is a strategic move. After all, the floor coverings will be available to shop in Anthropologie stores, too: meaning that a wider audience will be introduced to Ruggable’s key tenets of washability, top-notch craftsmanship, and an elevated aesthetic sans exorbitant prices (the new rugs in question are priced between $139 and $1,449).
“Our in-house design team created a collection that seamlessly aligns with Anthropologie’s aesthetic while staying true to the innovation and practicality that define Ruggable,” Nicole Otto, Ruggable’s CEO, said.
What to look forward to in your new Ruggable x Anthropologie acquisition, besides all those vibrant hues, trend-aware yet classy designs, as well as each rug’s cushioned feel and non-slip nature (now a built-in feature versus requiring a separate pad system purchase)? The fact that it will serve you for many years on end, marrying waterproof and stain-proof durability with the kind of appearances that will have your guests asking, “Can I steal it?”
(And they wouldn’t even be in the wrong.)
