Rachel Zoe’s spring collection was an ode to bohemian glamour. She looked at the legendary late-Sixties style of Talitha Getty, focusing particularly on her years in Morocco. This was reflected not only in the rich color palette, including deep tones of copper and emerald with fresh hints of white, but also in the range of details embellishing the clothes.
North African tapestry inspired the patterns on pretty jacquard tops, miniskirts and dresses with fringe. The era’s free-spirited attitude echoed in the girly eyelet cotton blouses and shorts, in the maxidresses with crochet details and in the fluid caftans worked in vintagelike scarf floral motifs.
For a more urban, rock-’n’-roll-inspired vibe, Zoe offered a tailored suit with flared pants crafted from a gold lamé fabric. Despite the strong Sixties and Seventies influences, the lineup looked contemporary and appealing for a wide range of customers — from ladies lounging by a pool to trendsetters attending a music festival.
