It was the blatantly synthetic lavender wigs and jewel barrettes resembling hair pins that got Yuna Yang’s show off to an unfortunate start. The quirky accessories continued to sabotage rather than help the collection, which needed some styling assistance to begin with. There were a few pretty black or white sheer trenchcoats and flirty floral dresses, but the relentless layering and awkward proportions combined to render Yang’s collection what can only be described as jarring.
