Saloni Lodha has developed quite the following, with her signature vibrant print dresses in silk and jersey selling out in stores. In line with this winning strategy, she showed Japanese floral wood-block prints on charming, easy-to-wear styles for spring. What really stood out were the pieces that were printed onto lace — tops, skirts and pants — striking the perfect balance of feminine yet easy.
But the big news was that Lodha stepped out of her comfort zone by creating casual tops, embroidered leather and novelty denim. It’s exciting to see designers evolve and she managed to expand her collection, while still holding true to her pretty aesthetic. Case in point: a black leather jacket with bright floral embroidery and a denim skirt with colorful grommet embellishments.
