Carmen March took his spring cues from Slim Aarons’ photos of aristocratic women summering in the south of Spain for the Pedro del Hierro label.
March translated this inspiration via the notion of water. Dresses twisted and wrapped around the body in a sultry way — “Picture a woman coming out of a pool in her dress,” March said during the presentation. The water theme continued with sheer caftans, swimsuits and a body-skimming dress with a metal frame cutout.
March also played to the company’s Spanish heritage with a bolero jacket and delicately embroidered high-waisted pants.
