Nina Simone’s strict Methodist upbringing inspired Rob Jones and Catherine Teatum’s collection of strong, tailored silhouettes in a palette of navy, white and soft peach. They riffed on high church vestments with nods to tabards and stoles, and included plenty of workwear references.
Among the standouts was a white organza jacquard dress that had a stiff bonded panel over the hips to form an exaggerated full skirt.
