Emma Cook gave Hawaiian prints an English twist, combining bright, almost-fluoro pastels on neutral bases of khaki, black and white. For example, a traditional Hawaiian floral was mashed up with swans on a lake, while pastel lace and a golfing check were in the mix too. Silhouettes were simple to let the prints rule, with silk shirts and dresses, organza layers, jersey day dresses and leatherette track pants.
